Ann Turkel, who was wed to Richard Harris for eight years before he divorced her twenty years ago, is still trying to reconcile the death of Richard Harris. Turkel is a native of New York. She was born in Manhattan and comes from a Jewish middle-class family, was a student at the Neighborhood Playhouse as well as the American Musical and Dramatic Academy by the time she turned sixteen.
